I joined the ultrasound lab in September 2002. We are working on the problem of transcranial ultrasound thrombolysis. I am focused on the thermal aspects of this problem. I am investigating the thermo-physical and acoustic properties of clotted blood and cranial bones as well as, the ultrasound hyperthermia in these tissues. My research interests are ultrasound imaging, tissue characterization, and ultrasound bioeffects.
